Executive involvement is the key to developing the next generation of leaders, according to a survey conducted by Training magazine in cooperation with Wilson Learning Worldwide.

Effective leadership development is critical, especially now. Why now? This year, the youngest of the Baby Boomer leaders turn 60, and the drive to find a way to replace retiring leaders is well under way. But many believe we are not effectively preparing this next generation of leaders—leaders who will be leading in a more complex, more global, and more collaborative work environment.

We posed key questions regarding current and next-generation leadership development in this industry survey of more than 500 Learning and Development professionals, conducted by Training magazine in cooperation with Wilson Learning Worldwide.
